In our continued series on mindfulness posts, our counselling student, Tanja has put together a mindfulness meditation for pain.
Pain can be a warning signal that something is wrong or not quite right. However, for people who experience persistent pain it can be crippling and limits them from enjoying life to the fullest.
Those experiencing pain may find it valuable to try a mindfulness exercise to support them to stay in the moment, increase a sense of acceptance for unpleasant sensations and improve emotional flexibility.
