Cassia House accommodates 90 residents across 3 units, in single rooms with ensuites. We offer both permanent and respite roomsWith many small lounge and dining areas, courtyards, and a home theatre that is a great spot for watching old movies, there are plenty of amenities at hand.

Cassia House has an impressive entrance plaza, which is the central hub of the facility. With various services operating from Cassia House and many visitors, the plaza provides a great place to relax and catch up with friends and relatives over a coffee from an excellent cafe.

We also offer residents support socially, physically and culturally. A diverse range of activities and outings helps residents remain engaged and stimulated.

Accommodation Payments

From 1st July 2014, people coming into Aged Care have the option to pay for their accommodation in three ways:

• The first option is by way of a Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD). This means the total RAD amount is paid in full.
• The second option is by way of a Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP). This payment is calculated based on the outstanding RAD amount and is converted to a daily fee.
• The third option is a Combination of a RAD and a DAP, where a partial lump sum payment is provided and a daily fee is charged on the outstanding amount.
