Having a cancer diagnosis doesn’t mean you can’t exercise.
MannaCare is running POWER – a program for oncology wellness and exercise rehabilitation.
We are committed to providing an evidence-based exercise and wellness program over 12 weeks that supports the individual to take part in safe physical activity during and after treatment for cancer. We aim to empower, educate and connect those who take part.
How does POWER support those with Cancer?
- Increased energy levels and overall strength
- Reduces side effects of treatment
- Increases confidence for long term exercise and management of wellbeing
- Improved body composition and immune function
During COVID-19, the POWER Program has continued via online Tele-health sessions.
POWER offers a range of oncology services, run by oncology trained allied health professionals including:
POWER’s services are suitable for people at various stages of treatment and survivorship.
