One in ten Australians over the age of 65 have dementia.  A recent social inclusion survey by Dementia Australia revealed that more than 60% of people don’t know what to say to someone with dementia.

Memory Place Cafes were designed to provide a relaxed, safe and supportive environment where people can gather, knowing it is a dementia-friendly space.

MannaCare, with the support of funds raised at the 2023 Mayoral Charity Gala, will begin hosting these essential gatherings on a monthly basis.
