Our community care services aim to assist older people to continue to live independently in their own homes for as long as possible.
We provide community services both on site at MannaCare in Doncaster, and in people’s own homes.
These services range from helping with physical jobs that an older person can no longer do, to rehabilitation and activity groups, respite care, and connecting carers with other carers, plus professionals who can help them.
Carers are often isolated, with many feeling it intensely. Our Community Workers are able to support carers of older people in their caring role.
To understand which service would be most appropriate for you, contact MannaCare and our staff can discuss various options with you.
Consult the government website, MyAgedCare, for general guidance.
From 1st July 2019, the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission required all aged care service providers to follow the new Aged Care Quality Standards. For more information relating to the new standards, please visit the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission website.
